Disappointed with Venue AGAIN
"We skeptically returned to see Drink The Sea at the Bangor Waterfront, my husband and I. As big fans, she is part of our generation. The Waterfront clearly didn't see the reviews from previous concerts or didn't care because nothing improved. We had previously gone to see Aerosmith and had a terrible time with the VENUE. Despite getting there early, having seated tickets, we still had to wait in line for over an hour to get in the venue - just like Aerosmith, we MISSED the opening act. Once we got to security, that turned out to be useless because people were walking in settings that the alarm off and were waved through. The area getting to and including the stairs was so congested it was like cows being herded - literally so close to each other you could smell a stranger's breath. Once you were at the top of the stairs, the area opened up. Exiting was a similar experience. Very poor organization and regard for patrons' safety leads me to believe whomever built this supposed improved venue was impaired and should have been fired. Most patrons especially in Maine work hard to come to concerts and should not be treated disrespectfully, like I described earlier. This point, with two chances given, I'm not sure you'll receive our hard-earned money again!"
